Artiole 3.

The said Manager and Superintending Engineer shall

receive his instructions as regards all matters concerning the

services of the Company through the Company's nominee for such

purpose and failing such nomination through the Superintendent

of the Hong Kong office of the Sastern Extension, Australasia

and China Telegraph Company Limited.

Article 4.

The said Manager and Superintending Engineer shall

continue to supply the Inspector General of Police. the

Postmaster General and the Superintendent of Imports and

Exports with information leading to the prevention of orixe

and smuggling.

Article 5.

All members of the radio-electric services staff whether

paid by or chargeable to the Government or the Company shall be

under the control of the said Manager and Superintending Engineer

and shall receive their orders through him

Article ó.

From the date mentioned in Article 1 hereof the royalty

agreed to under Article 3 of the principal agreement shall be

payable by the Company and the Company shall take all receipts

in respect of traffic on which such royalty is paid. The period

of twelve monthe operation by the Company referred to in the

said Article of the principal agreement shall be deemed to

commence for the purposes of the said article at the said date

Article 7

From the date mentioned in Article 1 hereof the Company

shall provide the necessary cashiers and collecting and

accounting staff for the collection or payment of all monies
